Note:
1. Admission to the different courses of Undergraduate studies (both Honours &General) will be made strictly on the basis of Merit.
Eligibility Criteria:
For General Candidate :
a) 55% marks in the aggregate in 10+2 examinations; or
b) 50% marks in the aggregate with 60% marks in the subject.
For SC/ST candidate :
a) 50% marks in the aggregate in 10+2 examinations; or
b) 45% marks in the aggregate with 60% marks in the subject.
5. Following is the method of calculating Merit points in the Merit lists for Honours Subjects:-
S = The marks received in the subject applied for Honours course in H.S or equivalent Examination.
T = The marks received in English+ Marks received in the subject applied for Honours course+ the best two subject scores ( Excluding the marks of EVS, English and marks of subject applied for Honours)
6. A candidate can apply in a subject (Except Geography) even if he/she did not have it in his/her H.S or any equivalent examination. The method of calculating the Merit point in such cases is as follows:
T1= Marks of English and best marks of three subjects (excluding EVS)
Note: This method will also apply in calculating Merit points in General courses.
7. Online filling up of forms and corrections of errors in application forms must be completed within stipulated time.
8. In the cases of SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B reservations, only the certificates issued by the SDOs will be considered valid.
9. At the time of physical verification of credentials in the college, photocopy& self-attested of the following testimonials must be submitted :
a) Two copy of Madhyamik Admit Card (Both Side)
b) One copy of H.S Marksheet& Certificate (Both Side)
c) Printed copy of duly filled Application Form
d) Student’s own Caste / PH Certificate from appropriate authority as per Govt. Rule.

Original copies of the above documents are mandatory to be produced at the time of Physical Verification.
Note: A candidate's admission will stand cancelled if any discrepancy is found between the data provided by him/her during the Online Application and the original documents produced by him/her at the time of physical verification at the college. If a candidate or his/her legal guardian is absent on the day of physical verification then his/her admission claim shall stand cancelled.
11. CHOICE BASED CREDIT SYSTEM (CBCS)
Ø COURSE STRUCTURE:
The HONOURS PROGRAM course shall be designed as having 140 credits delivered in six (06) semesters with 1950 marks.
The PROGRAM course shall be designed as having 120 credits delivered in six (06) semesters with 1800 marks.
Each Course shall be of 75 marks each except that AECC l(ENVS) will be of 100 Marks and AECC 2 (English/MIL Communication) will be of 50 marks.
At the time of admission, a student will identify an Honours Program (total 140 Credits) / Program Course (total 120 Credits) in which he/ she/ transgender shall concentrate. Apart from the Discipline specific Core Course he / she I transgender will have to select Generic Elective courses. He / she / transgender will also have to select Discipline Specific Elective courses, Ability Enhancement Core Courses and Skill Enhancement Courses from the provided pool of choices.
Ø OUTLINES OF CHOICE BASED CREDIT SYSTEM:
1. Discipline specific Core Course (DSC) The course designed for papers under this category aim to cover the basics that a student is expected to imbibe in that particular discipline. A course, which should compulsorily be studied by a candidate as a core requirement is termed as a Core course.
2. Elective Course: Generally a course which can be chosen from a pool of courses and which may be very specific or specialized or advanced or supportive to the discipline/ subject of study or which provides an extended scope or which enables an exposure to some other discipline/subject/domain or nurtures the candidate's proficiency/skill is called an Elective Course.
2.1 Discipline Specific Elective (DSE) Course: An Elective course offered under the main discipline/subject of study is referred to as Discipline Specific Elective.
2.2 Generic Elective (GE) Course: An Elective course chosen from an unrelated discipline/subject, with an intention to seek exposure beyond discipline/s of choice is called a Generic Elective. The purpose of this category of this courses is to offer the students the option to explore disciplines of interest beyond the choices they make in Core and Discipline Specific Elective courses.
3. Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC): The Ability Enhancement (AE) Courses may be of two kinds: Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses (AECC) and Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC).
3.1 Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses (AECC): These courses are based upon the content that leads knowledge enhancement,(l)Environmental Science and (2)English /MIL Communication.
3.2 Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC): These courses may be chosen from a pool of courses designed to provide value-based and/or skill-based knowledge and should contain both theory and laboratory/hands on training/field work. The prime purpose of these courses is to provide students life-skills in hands-on mode so as to increase their employability.
4. Practical/Tutorials (One each with every discipline specific core and discipline/generic specific Elective course): Practical means Laboratory or field exercises in which the student has to do experiments or other practical work of two hour duration. Tutorial means special instructions based on the Lectures .

6. Credit
The term 'credit' refers to the weight age given to a course, usually in terms of the number of instructional hours per week assigned to it. This explains why usually 'credit' is taken to mean 'credit hours'. The credits also determine the volume of course contents and delivery of Course such as lectures, tutorials, practical, assignments etc.

Ø Once you will click on next fill in the columns on Preferred Honours Courses,Preferred General CoursesandProceed For Payment
Instructions for Applicants to deposit Online Application Fees:
Ø You will be directed to the page where in you can deposit the Application Fees in your own preferred mode of payment like Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI/Wallet. These options are available for all Banks across India. All applicants are requested to carefully preserve the payment receipt for future correspondence.
N.B. : Applicants can print their final Application Forms at the time of Admission Fees Payment.
E-counselling Procedure
Ø Once the merit lists are published online, the candidates should note their ranks. Thereafter the candidates should wait until the e-counselling lists of their preferred subjects are published. If his/her name is included in the e-counselling lists, he/she should deposit the requisite admission fees through the link (Login)given against his/her name in the website.
Ø Pay your Online Admission Fees by clicking on the provided link.
Ø You will be directed to the page where in you can deposit the Application Fees in your own preferred mode of payment like Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI/Wallet. These options are available for all Banks across India.
Ø All candidates should carefully preserve the payment receipt for future correspondence.
Ø Physical attendance for verification of testimonials on stipulated dates (after making payment) is mandatory otherwise his/ her candidature will be cancelled.
Ø The Candidate himself/ herself must be present during physical verification.
